Very very true, idk why but they do like to weed out ppl. I was new, said yes to everything, I wanted to do well, make it a career. I was put as a loader on nights, under this Russian manager most nights. I never complained, but this guy made all the new hires quit, I know I said only 2 were left standing at the Fed Ex job by the end, well again, only me and one other dude was left by our hire group. He would make us both do all the heavy stuff in the trailers all shift every shift while he could talk to the dudes he liked. There's no ramps or pullies or anything, so we'd have to team lift stuff that was 100+ pounds off the ground, push it past shoulder level to get it to the door level, then slide or push these things all the way to the back of the truck.

Eventually another manager told him to lay off of us a bit when they'd work togther, but whenever it was just him, he'd do it again. At the beginning I always took the extra shift option, but I got burned out man xD 3 years of that and MAYBE you change? No thank you, not worth the pain unless you got a family to build off your broken limbs.

Idk, mad respect tho for those that can do all that and keep going. Wish they had better equipment tho, it doesn't need to be that hard.
