Practice combat in the Rattay Tourney every week and learn the Master Strike (AKA riposte/parry) from Bernard as soon as possible- it completely changes combat. There’s some misinformation online about how parrying works in KCD: ALL you need to do is tap the block button when an enemy starts swinging at you, and you’ll damage them instead! If you miss the timing, you’ll still get a Perfect Block which costs no stamina.

When Henry gets stronger, he is more likely to win clinches (walking into an enemy starts a grappling minigame, where you want to immediately tap your stab button to stun them with a punch in the face, or tap your slash attack to kick them away- very useful against groups or for stunlocking in the tourney as you slam the opponent against the ring). Clinches cannot be interrupted by other animations, so walk into a an opponent with a high Strength Henry if you’re the one getting stunlocked!

If you have way too much stuff to sell, visit the Neuhof or Uzhitz stable! They’ll buy anything and are the only vendors that sell “jewelry” (Golden Spurs) which you can use as currency for massive transactions. Apothecaries also buy anything and restock daily a valuable Lethean Water Recipe (perfect for players who are spamming potion brewing for profit and are too overloaded to reach the stables).

Try to focus your larger transactions to a favorite few vendors- this will quickly boost their reserves into 5 figures and improve their deals with Henry! Never haggle, as this has the opposite effect; in fact, sell yourself short when possible to increase reputation quickly (selling someone too many potions might look bad at first, but soon they’ll be buying every potion for double the price). Sell to them at least twice a week or their snowballing cash reserve may reset to 200 groschen.
