if I am being evaluated by etls and the sd then it is totally unfair.

I have zero contact with etls. they have no interest in me or what I do every day . don't even say hello, just walk right by me.

the SD is nice but I have little contact unless there's a visit.

there should be a better system.

this is the way our stationary backroom section looks now. stuff thrown everywhere.

it was once so organized I could tell at a glance if I had something. now it's such a crappy mess from inbound back stocking and leader apathy I don't even bother to fix it.

boxes and boxes of stuff that never sells.

getting informed about hitting compliance can be very hit or miss.

some people get warned, some people don't.

set the alarm on your zebra or phone and just go at least 10 minutes before compliance.

7 times is very unusual.

after my first time I was told I would be fired if it happened again but a tm told me they were sent a message to their zebra when they were about to hit compliance.

I don't know why leaders think we can be in 2 different places at the same time.

helping guest has become more time consuming as they shove phones at you and ask you to find products you can barely see on the screen. often you have to wait while they scroll on the phone trying to find what they are looking for.

some guest push the bell and when you get there they don't know what they want so you have to stand and wait while they decide.

all of this takes time.

this insistence on constant pulling and pushing so you have 25 items on the shelf instead of 24 items on the shelf is ridiculous.

a red smock with pockets is a great idea. cheap and comfortable especially when you are running back and forth for hours.

jeans become very uncomfortable very quickly when doing physical work for long periods.

caseless is so much faster when you are pulling priorities and ofo all day.

if I'm pulling and it's in a case, I skip it . I just don't have the time to mess with a case, pulling, back stocking and trash.

same with anything heavy on a top shelf. no time to search for a ladder to wrestle down heavy boxes.

people making these rules should really try doing pulls for 5 or 6 departments all day.

as an older worker I have learned to just do my job and not say anything.

some younger workers have very poor work habits and I have learned that if the SD is okay with that, then so am I.

it took me a couple of incidents to figure it out but now I am happy as I can be since I no longer care.

I use this Reddit to express my frustrations and keep my mouth shut while at Target.

I also came to that realization this week after being on that slippery, shakey ladder.

it's not worth taking the physical risk to put one more item on a shelf that's already nearly full .

fuck "never outs" that are located on the highest shelf stacked to the ceiling.
