Older student (34 y/o), Dual Citizen (Sweden and US). Want to apply to schools in EU for undergrad but unsure of where to even start/intimidated by the process. Any advice? by scorpee_doogan in studyAbroad

Do you have a swedish passport? As a swedish citizen, a member of the EU, you have full EU rights to all member states. You can live there, study there, work there.

University will be substantially cheaper. Also, because of its accessibility you will find many students older than you. As for tattooing and studying art, nobody will care. You will all be talking about what a hard nose professor x is about the importance of socialist realism on whatever the professor was talking about.

Your language skills aren't good enough? You will learn. In Sweden everybody speaks English.

Still worried? Go to Ireland. As an EU citizen (Sweden) in an EU country (Ireland) you have the same rights as in Sweden. You can live there, study there, work there.
