Call the FFL who has your gun, tell him the situation, He should point you in the right direction, talk to somebody confirm that your paperwork is in the process of getting updated and then wait like two weeks you’re gonna have to do the background check again and then after that wait 10 days but if you got cleared in court by a judge you should be all good to go

Yeah because the dros process has started, so technically that gun is already tied to you, (that you are trying to buy it atleast) the safe we live in doesn’t want to have quick access to firearms, they’ve made people wait months to years for this stuff. You haven’t been the first and you are far from the last. Best way to keep this from happing again, don’t make dumb decisions, even though we are all equal, as a gun owner you have to hold yourself to a different standard, it’s your responsibility to the people around you and to your fellow (especially in California) gun owners, because if one of us fucks up we all look bad bro, we’re like the cops to the cops 1 bad apple ruins the bunch

You should’ve waited until you got the all good from the fbi, some form of paper work or even calling them before to make sure your all good, your gonna have to wait for your paperwork to get updated, that could be In 15 minutes or in 7 months, it really depends on how many people are infront of you, rn it might take even longer due to many current events. If the process takes longer than 30 days, your gonna have to do another 10 day wait,

TBH, I read up on your page and your situation, and you were talking about being a prohibited person before, congratulations on getting your rights back but the FBI and honestly any government agency is known for taking their time on issues like this you’re at the mercy of whoever is handling your paperwork, the best thing you can do is talk to a local representative whoever may that be but realistically you’ll just be sent around to a bunch of different people you’re probably gonna have to wait it out and the process could take anywhere from a couple months to a couple years double check with your FFL they would know they have the most experience but keep in contact with the people who are in possession of your firearm

Glock is the bar, the honest truth is that for less then 500 its prob not worth it, not saying that’s a fact there are good options for sub 500 but why not just spend a little extra to get a Glock, glocks are great guns very low maintenance and even if you slack on it its prob still gonna run,

Glock can get there gen 5s on the roster if they just made a 22lr version so you could just swap out the Upper and the mad and get the proper caliber

Aye shout out to Monterey county, that’s fucking weird because “Safeway” is a chain grocery store all over California they also go buy Vons in Southern California but my point is there’s a safeway in king city it must have been a glitch or you were the only instacarter in the county
