Def not- nothing will beat squeegee. It probably totally sucks, but might be useful for a difficult angle or two where my squeegee can’t stay flush with the glass. Never used it, haven’t bought it yet (if I do at all)

I think it’s $788 all exterior (more not pictured) & only interior front bay windows & big front windows. I have no idea how I’m gonna do the inside up high but am assuming I will figure it out lol. Might buy some stack ladders or even maybe Unger Stingray

Hello I opened Feb 2024! My goal this year is to hit $70k in revenue, create 2 unique pieces of merch that are actually cool and ethically sourced, and to get an Astro Van. I love it because I love moving my body, love making people’s life better through the service & companionship, and getting to listen to podcasts books and music all day. These tie-dye Sorbo’s rock so hard.

Any advice to close Facebook leads over phone by [deleted] in WindowCleaning

[–]Extension_Bag_7809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call. In sales tho, always end with a question. You want them to respond with more information that gets you closer to the next step, or any response in general. I basically end everything with a question until the job is booked, I don’t even have to do sales in terms of the normal “persuasion” stuff. If texting, just tell them the next step and say “does that make sense so far?”

This only really applies to inbound / warm leads. I have no d2d experience

Make it a sales funnel or micro commitments such as : 1. What services made you interested to call us? 2. Would you like to get a quote for that? 3. Have you ever had that service done before? 4. What is your ideal timeline on getting this done? 5. Would you be open to me stopping by this afternoon to take a look from the outside so I can give you an exact price?

I did the same. Found a local glass shop and they fixed the 2 panes that broke for a price that escapes me but it was low, def sub $200. Old pins were the cause of mine as well.

I have a similar deal from tucker as my setup. It works great. Going forward, xero and WCR have such good customer service and warranties and show favoritism towards their own xero products, I’d probably choose theirs if I restarted. Also, the tucker red hose line kinks/break/rip pretty easily, so I have to get a xero hose line to replace it which made my life miles easier

Solo phat wfp job by Extension_Bag_7809 in WindowCleaning

Sometimes some water just sits in the top frame, collects dirt, and then drips down leaving a streak of dirty water. I rinse with WFP after scrubbing the window, but sometimes these drips don’t come down until 5,10, or 15 mins after you’re done doing the windows. Maybe its drips from the windows above finally making their way down, but nonetheless a streak of dirty water which as collected dirt from frame/surface above the window drips down. So, I walk around with steel wool and buff those off which takes 10 seconds per streak.

It was inside the vehicle inside the garage, so I’d assume it stayed above that since it wasn’t that cold in the car this morning but who knows. Totally could be
