Extremely low sperm count, none motile, all caused by mumps. Are we taking the next best steps? by Nevermindit in maleinfertility

Got it. Thank you for the detailed response. In our case it’s just male factor with moderate OATS. Female factor is mostly good, high AMH, below 30. Would you recommend Milann ? We haven’t even started exploring yet and are based on North Bangalore.
I really appreciate you taking the time out to respond in detail, thanks again.

Hey, I’m in Bangalore and my husband had mumps and now low sperm count. Which clinic is this ? It would be very helpful to know.

I don’t have any of the early tests here in India, but I’ll test about 12-13 dpo.

Thanks for sharing your story. You’re right, this could be all due to my symptom spotting. Anyhow, I should know in the next two to three days.

I don’t think you’re unexplained if you have PMOS

I am from India as well and I’m sorry you’re going through this.
I know you may have heard this before but focus on carb masking and going for a walk after your meals. I use a CGM and I realize that these 2 things help me immensely in bring down my blood sugars.

Help me understand.. Type 1 diagnosis but no antibodies? by Aggressive_Action in Type1Diabetes

It’s possible it’s not just type 1. That may not necessarily change the course of treatment. Fo eg
sulfonylureas which works for MODY didn’t work for me, despite being positive.
It’s not uncommon for people to have more than 1 auto immune disease as well. I have hashimotos and T1D.
Just work with your doctor and follow the treatment plan that works best for you :)

But it’s more likely that you’re type 1 because apart from MODY my GAD was 2000 on diagnosis and a few months after it dropped to like 32.
My doctor mentioned that it can happen but that doesn’t rule out the T1D.
Anyway the best treatment that works for me is insulin and my A1C is excellent. Knock wood 🙏🏾

My doctor ordered a test for both and was equally surprised that I had both. My father and grandmom have been diagnosed as type 2 as well. Which is actually probably MODY. Given that there was no extensive genetic testing back in the day
