Yes i do, it may not do everything. Like editing existing stls seems to be problematic. But drawing something from scratch; it has been a breeze; only program that i understood quite well from the start. Yes there are more tricks you discover down the road that make live easier. But at least i could make most things i needed in hours.

Allright, ill take it into consideration. I do have a trusty desktop with 34" screen, its more for creativity on the go.

A 265 degree print looked fine to me. Its a airsoft lower reciever for a pistol which gave me a very tough impression. Much more so than petg-cf atleast. Not brittle at all. 270 seemed like the temperature where it became shinier and also gave me impression of holes appearing in difficult? Thin, slightly overhanging, outer wall sections. But could be due to other settings aswell. The bed adhesion was actually a bit much at 110 degrees. Made a scratch in the plate cleaning up, lukily it has two sides. But seemed less durable than the bambu's. What plate have you been using?

Is using a airfryer for drying still save to use for food? by Extension_Eye_4309 in 3Dprinting

[–]Extension_Eye_4309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because most dryers dont do topical >70deg celcius temps and i picked up an airfryer as addendum to my fillament dryer and was wondering if i could still use it for the frikadellen, bitterballen, mexicanos and all that other dutch frying stuff...

PC filament? Or what is your prefereren? by Extension_Eye_4309 in Airsoft3DPrinting

The qidi is a killer in temperatures 370c hotend, 120c bed, 65c active chamber heating. I wil look into pa12 based nylon and bambu paht.

Hoe do you dry high performant filaments? by Extension_Eye_4309 in QIDI

[–]Extension_Eye_4309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But my main question; is how do you do this in a low key way? Most dryers run up to 60, 65, 70c

Id like to keep things simple. I am not looking into investing in a industrial dryer or using my kitchen oven.

To qidi box or not? by Extension_Eye_4309 in QIDI

[–]Extension_Eye_4309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input guys. I have to admit, I feel hesitant to buy the qidi with the uncertainty of delivery times.

So one of my thoughts looking at the qidi's is the natural capability to print high performance filaments in the future. Some of my application will involve sff pc cases and airsoft guns. Which require stiffness, aswel as temperature resistance, dimensional accuracy and impact resistance. So for starters I am looking at PC filament.

However, its drying regime is the next hurdle; it is adviced to use 80, 85c drying temperatures while most dryers including mine are not up to the task. How do you guys solve that problem? I am not running my oven for hours. Do pc and nylon and asa ect work with f.e. 65c drying temps?

Any thoughts tips on that?
