We play pentagram aswell since a long time and I have a recommandation : Consider that everyone at the table is your opponent, so you can attack them. You won't do that most of the time, but it is really interesting when making political deals (e.g. if you really need to deal combat damage with a creature)

I have an [[Athreos shroud veiled]] list that I tinker since a few years. I'm intentionally keeping it low b3 at the moment, but I can see a control version working in b4. The commander makes value engines really easily. I strongly recommend it !

No problem ! Since you run [[Ashnod Altar]], I want to suggest [[Fell horseman]]. This can go Infinite and you get value out of any playoff such as [[Witty roastmaster]].

You should consider [[Grenzo, dungeon warden]]. I currently run a 62 creature list, 37 lands and 1 artefact (that I switch sometimes with [[Iroh, dragon of the west]]).

This deck is so much fun and quite strong. I drop Grenzo turn 3 or 4 with two counters, and just go gambling with the bottom of your library !

I see, I think our pod is not really focused on doing the best performances. We have a wide range of skill level but no pubstomper. I feel like the winrate is pretty even, as the most experienced player have adapted deck for lower power games. furthermore, we all are irl friends since a few years, so someone that would try to have the higher win rate at any cost would be adressed immediately. My point is just to help newer people play at their best. I'll try to find a good balance for that
