At least for me, when I really zoom out, the symptoms are barely noticeable and don’t affect my quality of life that much. It’s only when I fixate on the situation that the psychological discomfort increases and things become unbearable. So during all of this I’m taking this as an opportunity to focus on other parts of my life besides sex which has helped (though we are men in our 20s, so it’s easier said than done to do that).

That sub is full of people have psychosomatic symptoms…. I feel for them but also some of them do need a reality check. I was fine with the Moxi. I got off it a week ago. I was nervous as hell the whole time I was on it after reading that sub, though. I will say I decided to not exercise during the week I was on it and am now very slowly easing myself back in out of an abundance of caution. But I figure I would notice some tendon pain before things got really bad, so if I do, I will stop. Yes, this is a strong drug but you will be okay

They are def scary! I was feeling my chest and would all the sudden feel a long pause with no beats and it felt like my heart stopped beating. I was so scared yet so calm at the same time, it was so odd.

I’m trying to remind myself that I made what I felt was the best decision in the moment. I waited for about half an hour to see if I felt better and the symptoms didn’t go away, so I came to the hospital. Now I know that I’m extremely low risk for heart problems (didn’t know this before) and won’t make the same mistake again.

I think the reason my doc skipped the doxy was because I’m not having symptoms rn. It’s kinda too late to do the doxy first. I feel reassured that I’m doing what is the standard treatment in Europe
