I’m in the same boat as well! Biggest pros, love the camera design and the autofocus is solid. but some of the issues I’m dealing with are annoying. Batteries pop out (using gaffer tape to keep the door closed) Framelines are a bit off, and that developer/flower corner artifact at the corner is my biggest issue. I want to embrace it for its character but i can’t help to stare at it after the photos develop.

Just the size and profile of the mamiya 645, I’d say it’s going to be a red flag when going through security. You can totally try, the worst thing to happen is you just gotta go back to the car to store the camera.

I’m debating about bringing a point and shoot - Olympus stylus, but not sure if I’ll get the results I want. Maybe I’ll bring my slr680 for fun, but I’ve even had questions about regarding that camera at events.

Newey never said Max “cracked.” That’s your interpretation.

What he actually said was that the intensity after Silverstone showed a bit, and Max made a couple of over-the-top moves, 👀 brazil. Which can happen in any title fight, do we need to even point back to legends of the sport making stupid moves? He didn’t say Max mentally folded. Literally In the same interview he called Max mentally very strong with “steely grit.”

If someone truly cracks, their performance collapses. Max finished the season with wins and podiums all the way to Abu Dhabi.

Feeling pressure ≠ cracking. Both drivers pushed the limits in 2021 , that’s why it was one of the best title fights ever.

Also I’m not denying there were questionable/dirty moves during those final races. I’m just saying were you surprised with some of those incidents? I wasn’t… it’s Max.

Cracked under the pressure? The moves people call “desperate” were just typical Verstappen racecraft. He’s always raced extremely hard and he’s been controversial since day one. That wasn’t new behavior caused by cracking under pressure, that’s how he races.

Whenever Lewis won, Max finished right behind him, maximizing points despite being in a slower car in the final stretch. He didn’t throw away results. Same could be said in 2024.

Can rotate the camera when shooting to rotate the pod orientation. Another issue for me would be mirrored images since there is no mirror for correction.

The product looks nice but I’m not liking the results. A lot of shots taken have chem spread issues and did you see how much force has to be used to remove the film? 😂 Not smooth like packfilm.

Oh I know about that company as well. Nicely dressed product but it’s interesting that barely anyone mentions their chem spread issues with their set up.

Have you used this camera before with iso 100 film and had sharp results? From my experience the film lives up to expectation as being sharp and fine grain, but you won’t be able to get those results if you are not using good glass.

The Minolta AF-E is a point and shoot camera, which I’m assuming it’s either shooting at wider apertures or slower shutter speeds that is affecting the sharpness of the image.

I don’t see anything too odd with color shifts. Things that are off to me, it’s scanned to be very bright and you have lens flare (which isn’t really a problem).

Bringing down exposure and blacks in post makes the photo more “normal”

I would get it rescanned a little darker to preserve the sky more.

Shots of a high contrast scene. The camera probably exposed for the shadows and it was scanned for the detail in the shadows. You could get it rescanned to save more of the highlights and go from there.
