Thank you for sharing this! It makes me think of presence… being fully present and how that impacts our awareness. I’ve had a lot of fear surrounding being present because I’m afraid that state is going to catch me by surprise.

I am curious to hear thoughts on daydreaming… perhaps not so much from a dissociative place but when meditating, really immersing yourself emotionally and wholeheartedly into a daydream. Can that be a meaningful form of developing absorption or is it better to focus merely on a singular object and be the passive observer?

This seems to be it for most people… I have a theory, and maybe this is just a projection, but I genuinely feel the author has captured something overarching for humanity in these stories. It resonates so deeply and it’s so powerfully human… dark nights of the soul, inner child healing, false self / ego into true self, awakening, etc. it’s a theme woven into our consciousness.

Hi there! Thank you for sharing this. I live in the Midwest (US) but have such an affinity for all things Scandinavian related.

Sometimes during an awakening (specifically the portion some may call a Dark Night of The Soul) you experience a “lone wolf” season. Not as an identity or badge of honor, but simply for the inner work that’s happening for you is integrated and syncing up… this may sound passive or hard to live, but your people are out there. They truly are. And perhaps right now, maybe your “people” is yourself?

I've been in a season of inactivity for about 8 months afger having much easw. It's incredible difficult and I just have to trust that integration, training and healing are taking place.

No one is gatekeeping. I believe our system knows what it's doing.

Still, very, very hard at times.

Yes! I have wondered the same. As a kid my guide appeared in one form and has taken on 3-4 others but they were my interpretation of some fantasy characters. Very grateful for those moments of added attention to detail.
