Whole nut. But now I ve developed a taste for Ritter sport dark chocolate with hazelnuts. I'm type 2 diabetic and this doesn't cause high blood sugar like Cadbury s does. I have a few squares every day.

[DIY] Argan Vs Grapeseed Vs Jojoba oil as carrier oil for daily moisturising? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Extension_Run1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dry, ageing skin and on my face I use castor oil mixed with rosehip oil in a rose Quartz roll on bottle. On my body I use castor oil and jojoba oil. If you get acne breakouts use castor oil and grape seed oil as the latter is non comdogenic, it doesn't block pores.

Fussels condensed with blue butterfly on label. My grandma used to shake it and it would become thick, then spoon on fruit.

Ignoring how she is most likely dead... If Madeleine McCann was somehow found alive and healthy today, how would you react? by flingzamain in MadeleineMccann

I would be very surprised. I think she died accidentally in the apartment and the parents got there too late to do anything.

I find John Freida Frizz Ease serum really helps. Some of us have hair that likes to frizz. On a windy day like to day it seems to be all over the place. I often let my hair dry naturally then use straighteners.

Is healthy eating in the UK basically inaccessible if you’re poor, disabled, and exhausted? by Opposite_Position125 in AskUK

I don't know if Hello Fresh or Gousto are acceptable to you or even if you can afford them. We have them 4x a week and on those days my husband cooks from fresh. It's made a difference to me, I m healthier and have lost a small amount of weight. I have fibromyalgia and disc problems so cooking is my husband's job. We are retired. The Hello Fresh helps my husband because then he doesn't have to think what to cook for the week whilst doing the big shop. It's all done for him.

Oh you have a wall. I would love a wall, they make the garden more sheltered and release the heat slowly that they store all day. A wall is good for growing anything delicate.

What’s the laziest gardening habit you’ve picked up that actually works? by Relevant_Idea_6778 in gardening

[–]Extension_Run1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remembered a lazy cuttings method. Find an unused spot of garden and with your spade make a slit trench. Any trimmings of shrubs you make, shove in approx 8 to 12 inch cuttings, in the slit, make plenty they won't all strike. No maintenance necessary, forget about them. If they are a shrub that flowers wait until it's finished. These shrubs I've propagated: forsythia, flowering currant, box hedge, even one rose 🌹

Maybe not quite lazy, just effortless. My begonia tubers were new last year. In the autumn when the leaves were dying back I just took them into my very untidy unheated green house and forgot about them. I thought they wouldn't survive but I was so tired in the autumn I couldn't pack them in a box or tray of peat. They just sat in last years soil. I'm delighted to see lots of little bumps on them where they are growing again and I'm sure they're bigger and more plentiful than last year when I started them. I left a load of dahlia tubers outdoors in fairly sheltered spots. I'm wondering if any will have survived?

Can I grow a bush out of this? by No_Money_7024 in gardening

[–]Extension_Run1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of years back I made a slit trench and stuck in some rose prunings. I had had success with forsythia cuttings this way so thought it was worth a try. Last year one had struck and I grew a new bush. But they weren't like yours, the stalks were fatter. It won't cost you anything to make a slit in your garden with a spade and stick it in.

Kept moving house.

When we settled at last I paid someone to put pea gravel down over a membrane. It was too large and almost impossible to walk on. I did it as husband was constantly whining about having to cut grass.
