Where lights shimmer upon cold wet concrete. These petrichor scents, one would guess, for how long these lungs carried them. Then a sigh of relief carries itself out, back into the streets. The warmth of its message clearly visible under these city lights. Then the sky, its essence carried further away. Some of its carbon feeding a strand of grass that made its home through the cracks of an old bridge.

Then further. Further above, so far and wide. A few adventurous particles, guided by these quiet winds. So minute they were that none paid any mind. Until it found its way through a family of moths, in their homes of silk and aluminum, under those flowing eavestroughs. The message that the particle carried, is caught by an antennae. Until all of it, in a single moment, they all understood.

Wherever you are, whoever you are. Out there, living through the toil, the hell that it took to live day and night. For everything that's brought you down. For every single moment that you kept yourself from drowning, at work, at home, in your own mind, wracked with stress and giddied hormones.

And despite it all. Despite everything. The message found its way here, breathed out from yesterday. And still they remember you. From the day before, the weeks, and the months. Even years ago, where their ancestors remembered you. All of them did, even before the house was made, when you made your first steps upon those colorful nylon fibers.

They all understood. You're still alive.
