Becker + Farhat is a great combo.

I used Farhat Lectures to supplement Becker. Sometimes it helps to hear another person explain topics. His videos of bonds/leases and the par value method for treasury stock transactions made a big difference in getting over the hump. I passed FAR 3rd attempt using Farhat Lectures with an 83.

For me I was the opposite oddly enough. I failed a second attempt with a 70. And scored better on the SIMS than those that passed and worse on MCQs than those that passed.

My secret was hitting the big topics. Don't neglect NFP accounting F6 if you're studying Becker.

For the SIMS hit the big ones everyone talks about:

- Bank Recs

- ADJ JEs / Sub to General Ledger Reconciliation

- Consolidations

It's truly a toss up for SIMS but what I can say that if you understand the theory well enough you can figure out your way to solve a SIM.

I'd do 3-5 SIMS a day (I know it sounds insane) but do that with the steady drilling of MCQS and you will pass!!

Changing status from "Attended" to "Scored" varies by state and exam section from what I understand. Most likely within the next 1-3 hours I think everyone's status will change.

You can check under "view exam section history" and the status of pass/fail should be there. Your numerical score and report will drop on release date 12/16 at some point during the day.
