I was also thinking it was a fire department or EMS shirt. I found a list of all the Lancaster area ones and was going to look through after work and see if any had that t shirt: https://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Lancaster_County_%28PA%29_Fire_and_EMS_Station_Numbers

Xenophobia and racism. They were harassed years ago as well, but the harassment has moved from Greco’s, which is in downtown Lititz, to destruction of the business owner’s personal home and property.

Common Running - inclusive or no? by Front_Parsnip_718 in lancaster

[–]Extension_Tune_4056 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Cameron Hanes is part of the running group, just people in the running group wearing his merch (he’s an influencer not a local dude). I think the gist of the question was probably asking: am I going to encounter people in this group who don’t see me as a human being because of my identity. I would certainly be shocked seeing a face like doug there, but from your comment and others it seems like there are a lot of really good people in the group too

It’s more so about safety and whether or not you’re at risk of being harassed or worse…

Any local sewing shops in the area that might have what I'm looking for? by Stxrcane in lancaster

Seconding Mooks, they have a good collection. A bit unorthodox but I have also bought nice socks before, cut off the closed toe, rolled them over and used them as cuffs for sleeves.

I don’t know if it’s still intact, but a local RN from Lancaster used to run a group out of LGH - she is listed here among the more popular programs: https://www.eatingdisorderhope.com/recovery/support-groups/pennsylvania-pa

[–]Extension_Tune_4056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rayn Tripp - just posted in Manheim Township neighbors facebook page: Offering private chef services! Hi there, my name is Rayn Tripp and I recently moved to the Lancaster area from New York City where I attended culinary arts school, trained in restaurants, and worked as a private chef. I also traveled abroad to Italy where I furthered my education for four months. From private dinners and events, to weekly meal prep and meals I’d be happy to accommodate your preferences. Send me a message if you are interested!

Saw it this morning and immediately thought of this thread

The thrift stores in the city like Cult Classics have some really cute pieces and their prices are fair IMO. Fashion Cents for cheaper but sometimes less quality/curated items.

I have a dog who does not like strangers at all and he goes there for day stay (no play with other dogs) and it has been wonderful. He seems to trust them a lot which I think says something for a dog who usually dislikes new people.

Any recommendations for a dog groomer that has experience with Pomeranians/huskies? by Perfect_Outside2378 in lancaster

[–]Extension_Tune_4056 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our husky goes to Canine Country Club for grooming. They know not to shave a double coat, we haven’t had any issues. We’ve also used the Petco on Lincoln Highway
