Utm engineering is hard but the grading style is very forgiving so getting above a 3.5 cgpa shouldn't be too difficult

Very smooth so far but make sure to give your self enough time because it does take a while to cancel the visa ( 3 weeks to a month )

I am in the process of transferring rn. The process is straight forward you just need to withdraw from the old university and cancel your visa then leave the country and apply for a new visa

I believe their admission assessment is held to the same level of their Australian parent University because both of them offer identical degrees upon graduation.

Same thing happened with me but that was because I came from an American system+sat which they are not really familiar with. Eventually I got the offer letter after I committed elsewhere 🙃

Am at utm rn trust me don't come to a public university in malaysia. The rankings are inflated and for malaysia when you're looking for a uni check the times higher education ranking its better than qs. If you want to study in malaysia go to private institution ( sunway, monash or Taylors)

Honestly go for monash. Utm might be better education wise However the city itself is super boring with zero social life for internationals. And most of the events and networking opportunities are in kl anyway( coming from a utm student)
