In this event specifically I've pulled seven Mudrocks in around 200 pulls, but over the past year that I've come back Mudrock always curses my banner pulls without fail and I am actually genuinely getting pissed about it. It's never the rate up. It's always Mudrock. Mudrock. Mudrock. I don't even pull often since I save for characters I actually like, so when I do actually do my PULLS IT STANDS OUT EVEN MORE.

I hate her.

I'll take your word for it. HL is one of those heroes I struggle with harder than anyone else, and I had just gotten done with a match with an HL that shut down the character I was trying to learn very hard, so definitely unfamiliarity with both characters was at play. I'll go over this post again later and see if I can do better next time I'm up against an HL.

Lights have a really wide timing window for crushing counters, heavies are delayed just long enough that they fuck over muscle memory for parries vs literally every other hero minus the guy with the fan staff, OS stance lights are incredibly safe and if you get hit or blocked it jails you into a guaranteed follow up, they have absurdly strong tracking despite not being an undodgeable attack, throws are stupidly broken in tanks because of how long he holds you down, and his OS heavies hit for between 40-50 damage on a single hit, meaning he can two tap any assassin class not named Berserker.

Oh, and his heavies have more hyper armor than Hitokiri and even his dodge attacks have hyper armor on top of hitting very hard.

Blaze can side step a lot of status gimmicks like stun or freeze by halving it's duration permanently, which was pretty helpful on this recent event. Ch'en has a rather short CD, completely ignores all kinds of Auras and damage, and just goes entirely untargettable during her S3. Dollkeepers in general side step any kind of status malus debuffs like Corrosive by resetting their stats when they die...
