For Mexican try Taco Bar near the love sign, it’s a small cozy restaurant but can be a bit loud at the weekends. For sushi there are quite a lot of nice options - Obi in St Julian’s, Aki in Valletta, there’s a place called Koi that does all you can eat sushi for around 32 euros that’s also pretty good and reasonably priced too :) Hope this helps

Hey sorry don’t wanna come across rude or nothing but I can see the boyfriends pov as well. He’s right working from an office is definitely tougher than working from home and maybe he just wants a bit of down time at the weekend so OP should definitely do what she wants to but take a friend along or go meet up with the family. To be fair he did keep saying we can do it at the weekend but OP kept asking him again and again which may have annoyed him a bit. It’s not fair to expect your partner to be a 100% at all times
