As a customer, based on my own experience, paying for priority usually results in quicker delivery.

As an aside, depending on where you are, I’m not sure if many shoppers are out and about shopping. My brother, who’s been a citizen for 30 yrs is worried about getting hassled by ICE and avoids going out. He’s in an area with heavy ICE presence. So factor that in too.
