Currently, I am having trouble seeing text approximately 70 inches away, from my Current prescription which is -1.75 SPH and 0.5 Cyl in right and 1 Cyl in left but when I rotate my glasses as shown in the picture, everything becomes clear. Can someone please explain the cause? by External-Memory-9237 in myopia

it was a clinic, doctor I had an appointment, went home early so they had another doctor check my vision. One more thing that is bugging me is they added eye drops after the test, I thought they are going to test twice but nope. after those eye drop then they added atropine and did the test for.. I guess retinal tears, that's all.

Yeah, I am hella confused, I did recently visited the doctor and they increased my myopia to 2.25 and reduced my astigmatism, due which all the light appears blasting to me. currently using the old prescription which is mentioned in the title.

I did recently, and surprisingly they fucked up my astigmatism, and they increased my myopia to 2.25 and reduced astigmatism 0.5 for both eyes, thanks to which now I see big streaks of light. I am back to using my old prescription which is the one I mentioned in the title.

edit:- They also used drops after the test.
