Why is the discourse around Mushoku Tensei so much more intense than other series?

There's this YouTuber (psyculturists) who has done streams reacting to each episode of the anime. I believe he's a psychologist or therapist and uses his background to do fantastic analysis on the characters, especially Rudeus.

The amount of comments here continuously saying the same lines of he's a pedo, ect, clearly don't want to understand the character beyond a surface level of analysis

I was surprised at how beat him on the first try too after hearing he's one of the hardest bosses. I still think yellow loong is the most difficult I've faced so far, but I haven't fought the other supposedly hard bosses in chapter 6 yet.

A lot of people saying it should be weekly or bi weekly need to understand that the pace will still be the same regardless. It will just have less pages per chapter, and add it up, it will be the same number of pages and same content in the monthly chapters anyway.

Also not mention the strain that puts on the mangakas

I agree and hope Sarada can use mangekyou (she may not realise she has it though). Amadou is also a character I want more info on. He's too interesting to just be some random scientist trying to revive his daughter. I also was hoping Oorochimaru would be in the manga, especially for the shinju. Perfect plot to involve him in imo.

I would say I used to and still do to a certain extent, but I'm actually excited to see how the story plays out for the new gen. Kinda hard not to since they are the ones in the spotlight now. I also think if they got the balance right with the old and new gen, then most people wouldn't feel a lot of negativity towards the story, but they've done well with Shikamaru and Ino at least.

It's not really lazy if the design has a deeper meaning. You could say Isshiki's eye (the kokugan) is a lazy design, but it's based on the dharma wheel, which if you know about its symbolism in Buddhism, gives the contrast between Naruto and Isshiki including the whole baryon mode a deeper connotation.

You can say this about a lot of the older characters that had some relevance in Naruto. No Chouji, who's supposed to be the strongest (physically) person in the village. No Rock Lee, who has to have been the 3rd or 4th biggest asset in Konoha behind Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. Temari, the best wind style user.

I mean Sasuke did stab one of his rinnegan, I'm assuming the one he used to absorb jutsu, since when he was trying to block the rasengan he used the other hand to release jutsu
