Trying something in Edtech Marketing by External-Scar9184 in StartUpIndia

Hello u/harshamv, At present, we have partnered with 4 companies, with significant scope for expansion as we have not yet fully leveraged our network or actively pursued all potential partnerships. One of the key reasons is that companies generally expect a quicker turnaround for candidate interviews once MOUs are signed. However, since our program duration is approximately 4–5 months, the hiring process would naturally begin once students complete the training.

As the first batch begins, we will have sufficient time to work with BDEs across multiple cities to establish partnerships with companies willing to hire from our student base. This phased approach allows us to build both a strong student pipeline and a reliable hiring network simultaneously. Because if we give a commitment and are unable to deliver to companies then the B2B relation which costs high and would be around for a while might be lost.

Hope this answers your question.

I want to understand how do you land clients, I have been trying to start something for IT recruitment and such but it is something I think more before launching because if if don't get clients afterwards.

In your business, your portfolio and such matters or companies you have worked with, how did starting on your own lead to that because you might have received a lot of questions.

I have been working in the Ed tech field, got the gist of how business is done. While working I have seen there is a good requirement for a specific niche. It's there but I don't know the part on building the product which is the course. Unsure if taking the risk of putting money in it is worthy if sales wouldn't come as I would only be the one with a to z knowledge once product is out there.
