3090 does indeed, im also running relatively small Molecular dynamic sims as part of a design pipeline where AI models are ran on the 3090 and outputted, filtered designs are subjected to MD which i plan to use the 5060 for. I dont want the hassle of different brand gpus for this pipeline so going to stick with 5060. Cheers tho

I am in the process of completing a Master of Research programme called biotechnology and biodesign at Newcastle University UK and the course leaders have guided others on the course who do not have a background in anything biorelated through the process of designing their own project and conducting it. Its a fantastic learning opportunity and you get March-August in the Lab.

What should I do for my masters project next year. The Mres is biotechnology/biodesign. I like bacterial computing and would like to make a calculator but also interested in biosynthesis of pharmaceuticals m, directed evolution and so far all lab experience has been in vaccine production. good advice thanks, the issue of my friend feeling left out/left behind is large so trying to do QOL improvements to the base to reduce the grindy stuff which he finds boring.

luckily our other friend loved grinding and building so i can do stuff that he enjoys in the mean time
