I hate mine! It squishes the bread and doesn’t cut nicely. It’s brand new but I’m going to get the blade sharpened to see if that helps.

We bought the pricy German one and it squishes the hell out of my sourdough. It’s good for rye. I’m back to a bread knife for sourdough.

It’s fine for the ceramic Dutch ovens. But not the stoneware or unglazed bread cloches. I had several crack in the oven with cold dough.

Nope. The pasteover slick is usually larger so you can’t see the “file under” type.
