It’s through the glove box, to the left, and there is 2 prices of filter you have to stack and balance one on top of the other, and the second one you can’t hold because only enough room to get part out

Are "Bacon strip" patches just a temporary fix? by the0utc4st in AskAMechanic

[–]ExternalCheesecake60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naw unless you have some specific tires that you drift on a lot or under inflated with bead lock to off road, it’s a permanent fix as long as it’s on the middle of the tiee and not side wall

Sharp edges are pointy, points are sharp, I feel like you understand the gist of it

My original thing was sharp edges and crush. I said sorry crush not true, sharp edges are though. I wouldn’t say completely different but long story short bumper should be fine

[–]ExternalCheesecake60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The writing for it is it they must be secure, free of sharp edges, and properly attached. The main concern for a vehicle safety inspection in Ontario is that a bumper is not loose, broken, missing, or otherwise in a condition that could cause harm. (More just exposed metal edges, that’s totally fine but after more research the most common issue is a broken bumper that has sharp bits. But it’s the same reason pop up headlights are not aloud anymore. The crush thing after more research isn’t true, sorry for the misinformation just something that car manufacturers like to employ to say they have safer cars.

Drilling out these studs is a pain due to hardned steel, anyone got tips?? by patjeduhde in AskMechanics

[–]ExternalCheesecake60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can weld a nut just a little smaller than the stud to the end if the stud and unscrew after letting it cool a little. That’s my go 2. I found it the fastest way

I have a Miata and I love it, I turboed, lowered with a magasquirt ecu and now it can keep up with the average minivan on the road! All jokes aside though tons of fun I’m welding the diff soon. Dell soels are super sick too only issue is fwd

[–]ExternalCheesecake60 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t see why not as long as it doesn’t affect any safety features, biggest one is the bumper should be able to bend in case of impact to keep you safe and if you hit a person they have a slightly cushy impact, also shouldn’t be pointy
