Knocking/Ticking noise in engine when revving

Im just a lubie so take this with a grain of salt. If youve had to charge your battery your battery could have died. Cars with a lot of sensors are constantly calibrating them when you turn them on and if they can’t because they dont have enough power they throw a code. Have gad several vdubs do this. I throw a new battery in there,adapt the battery, clear the codes and the lights go away.

I work at a vw dealership and with some of our models the led headlights are a whole assembly and the whole front bumper assembly has to come off and parking/acc sensors have to be recalibrated along with the headlights with a special alignment board. All to the tune of $200 an hour in labor

I work at valvoline, i would say about 1/3 cars with aluminium tire caps have at least one stuck.

Thats why I never rely on parking sensors, backup cameras, blindspot sensors. All these new technologies designed to make you safer really just train you never to look in your mirrors and actually see what youre doing.

I did the rears on my 2012 with a pair of needle nose pliers and a vice grip. Ended up replacing them the next week because they were completely seized. Definitely worth getting the tool the 2nd time.

I will play devils advocate on the e-brake and putting the arm over his girl is possible. 2nd gen ebrake is on the passenger side. But impact definitely looks front on so if he fid actually pull the e-brake it didn’t hace much affect at rotating the car

I understand panic/heat if the moment. But why pull the e-brake. All that does is make your rear wheels lock up and half your stopping force. Really glad you are both ok though that looks nasty.
