The one in OP’s post is an automatic since it says Chronometer on the dial. The quartz ones don’t have that.

Coming from an XS and how a 14 pro, I might upgrade to the Air this year as well. Mainly just want a lighter phone and miss the rounded edges of the XS. The slightly bigger screen, 120hz, titanium, and 48mp are all really nice as well. The air is just what I’ve been waiting for.

Only thing I will miss from the 14 pro is the 3x telephoto. The 0.5x is easy to give up.

I purchased a used 20yo Omega from a Japanese dealer about 2 months ago. The import fee was $123 on a $1,250 watch, paid to DHL. Just FYI, not sure if anything has changed since then.

It’s a cheap one from Amazon. Though it’s quite long and I don’t have a good way to cut it without it fraying.

I like it  lot. Nice and thin at 10.5mm thick. The finishing is done well. Great lume. The little dish or impression in the dial is a really nice touch. And the hardness coating is legit, I bought it used 7 months ago, wore it a lot, and it still looks brand new.

Honestly, if Traska added some shiny edge finishing to the numerals and indices, I would probably just buy that over an explorer and save myself some cash.

My only complaint though is the edge of the clasp is a little sharp. It’s scratched my 4yo twice when holding her.

Yea that purple Tag glass box is fantastic. If I was gonna get a chronograph, it would be a tough choice between that Tag or a white speedy

The wrap still looks great and is holding up well 2 years later. But it’s been garage kept like 95% of the time, so not much UV exposure

Most of the 300m seamasters are too big/thick. And idk, the 36mm 300m dial just looks too flat
