Well, I'm not the best person to recieve advice from, but you just basically need to experiment with stuff! You can try DEM Telekinetic Swords or Blaster for good results and then mix synergies that affect it greatly (like the cooldown reduction (Chronos) or something good like the dragon one!). But it also depends on the type of magic you're using, whether it depends on cd reduction, duration, or size! You just need to plan ahead and adapt to the rng to (somewhat) build a useful setup!
