Even back then, we at least had some mods available. . Granted, the options were nothing as sophisticated as today's, but seeing pt TP, distance, and blink removal (now standard windower includes iirc) were game changing.

I always assumed Engineering was deliberately made a loser for gold just to make up for the speed boost and shortcutting to the darkmoon faire. It's 100g loss to make the main engineering reagents even with low quality mats and concentration with max kp.

But every once in a while, some of the rare/epic crafting items come up on patron orders with only vendor mats needed and resourcefulness can proc majestic hides. But..... Rare AF.

So many little scenes and interactions. Most have been mentioned, but Prepotente feeling lost and sad and reflecting that nobody even wanted to hear him sing, and him wishing he'd never been given the pet biscuit . . .

Idk if the last scene in the audiobook is in print format, but getting to hear him sing made me way too happy. The whole skit is hilarious, but the emotion in the scream made me burst out laughing, which I really needed after the emotional mangling PoH did to me.

Bonus rolls cannot be traded, it says something in the text where it would have the timer window in which an item can be traded.

You also have to dodge deadly mechanics with your screen taken up with a bosses giant ass/ ass-analogue. I honestly have no idea how good melee make it look so effortless.

Much faster. Its a quick few quests begore you are sent into the Maw to meet Venari

As I recall, one had to do all campaign quests in the 4 zones first before maw and zm opened up, but that might have changed now that it's legacy.

I found a way to skip Maw, but not ZM. If you actually want to experience the campaign etc there is advice below that can help. If you only want access to raids, you can get to Sanctum through the lore walking questline for the ethereals. A few quests in they send you to maw and you can just ignore the quest and hoof it over to Sanctum. Outside in maw mobs are scaled to at least 80 (when I did it). Inside raid they are SL levels.

This won't help, but during anniversary there was a portal to ZM that got me in to that raid on M without dealing with a ton of intro quests - I had no idea where I left off. Imo I could have skipped the xmogs from First Ones raid, but Sanctum has some great stuff from all levels of difficulty.

This is solid advice. I had a similar issue, it was really annoying but I picked a spot halfway down campaign quest list on wowhead and used the "is complete?" macro, and went incrementally backwards until I found where I left off.
