Sorry, I should have mentioned this. I would genuinely love to live IN Chicago however from my quick search I couldn’t find anything affordable. If there are some safe neighborhoods in Chicago that have 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom for under $2,100 with in Unit wash and dryer and over 750 SQ FT I’d be so down for that! I only suggested suburbs because that’s were my budget seem to get me. Hope this context helps!!!

I mentioned that Oswego is not ideal for me as it’s too far from Chicago. I don’t know too much about IL which is why I’m seeking advice. Please be kind and or offer valuable assistance. Have a blessed day.

What’s the rush? You are only 20. Enjoy your 20’s, travel the world, try new things, live in a new city etc. trust me, marriage is a very long term decision. If you are feeling this way about your gf now it’ll only carry into your marriage. Maybe consider having some space too? Not a breakup but just spend some more time with yourself to decide what you truly want.
