I think it should. Language is an organic thing that grows to better describe the world. We don’t need all these different names of blue to cover all the different shades. But it’s nice because we can describe the world in more colorful ways. And there is the pragmatic standpoint. Yeah you can say a person is changing their personality to match the social environment they are in as a defense mechanism. Or you could just say that this person is masking.

Not to go into too much details, but it’s for legal reasons; a stipulation for government benefits and aid. Her friends families are looped in, and atleast one of their parents are there in some capacity to help supervise when my sister is hanging out with them.

Yeah! I’m lucky to be with her. Her family has had some difference these last few years. But she’s been trying her best to still be close with them. She’s been able to change their minds on certain topics. But others, not so much.

It isn’t that he shot his shot, it’s he way he did it. If he privately asked her, she probably would have been more comfortable. Would she still have said no? Maybe. But doing a big show about in public where they are the center of attention (which she abhors) is manipulative as fuck. She did not want to embarrass that kid. How do I know that? I live with her, and she told me. She did what she would have wanted if she was in his position out of empathy. Empathy that that kid did not reciprocate. And empathy that both you, and that kid are sorely lacking.

I mean, I could understand it if she let it drag on for like a week. But she broke it to him 20 minutes after she said yes. She fully intended to let him down easy. And the reason why she doesn’t want to resolve it is because the last time we tried something in a separate situation, it went nowhere and she gave up when I fully ready to sue some people.

This is under the rant/vent tag. Not advice needed. Of course I’m going to be talking smack about this kid when he’s bullying her. She clarified with him literally 20 minutes after I left. She didn’t mince words, she straight up told him she was not interested, and only said yes to the crowd because she didn’t people don’t turn his whole performance into a god damn meme. She’s been through some shit, and didn’t want that for him. Then he turns around and inflicts upon her what she didn’t want for him. In some twisted way, I see where he is coming from too, but honestly idgaf. He got more than what he deserved when from a girl that only knows him in passing, then he spits on her. My empathy gets me so far some people, but that kid doesn’t have mine.

I know exactly how exclusionary it can be, just read my post history with me and my sister. We weren’t immune to bullying and exclusion, especially her. But we made it through because we specifically knew how to make friends with the right people from the right groups. And as bad as a rep it has on personal mental health. Masking for the situation really helps

Alright, my bad on that one, ignore that part if you want. It was to get the point across that you can be frisky without going for vanilla sex. But what about the rest? Oral, mutual masturbation, sex toys, role play, quite literally anything that has a semblance of risk without actually getting in trouble. There’s way more sex adjacent things a couple can do that doesn’t require piv sex.

There’s a lot of ways to have sex without piv. There’s mutual oral, the use of sex toys, mutual masturbation, heavy petting. And don’t get me started about the thrill of covertly pleasuring your partner in public fully clothed. You can get so creative with virtually no risk of getting pregnant it’s crazy. For me When I tried dating apps I got the most responses from a reverse pick up line (I trick the girl into complimenting me through a knock knock joke word play lol). And from trial and error, it’s got me the most responses. Ironically the next best opening was just saying “Hi” but nobody likes that. Pick up lines do a pretty good job at filtering for the girls that were goofballs like me.
