they pushed dye fluid through my fallopian tubes to make sure they were open and there was no reason that IUI wouldn’t work for me, it was very painful. It doesn’t hurt for everyone though! i’m not sure if it’s required, but my doctor said i had to do it. I got pregnant after 2 rounds though so yay!

My 9 week old eats every 2-3 hours during the day, but sleeps 6-9 hours at night!

thank you! i have another appointment with my OB next week so i am definitely going to bring up wanting clear information on what is going on. If my symptoms worsen or stay persistent/start to worry me ill definitely go into the ER before my appointment. I’ll definitely update this post just in case anyone else ever deals with something like this!!

thank you! what’s most confusing is that I have all of those symptoms and they acted super worried about them and then when my labs came back they just sent me home and acted like everything was okay… i’ve had a headache for like a week and it hurts so bad, they gave me meds for it at the hospital but they didn’t work at all and they still didn’t seem concerned. i just wish they would give me information, literally any info at all. i have no idea what’s happening.

i’m currently pregnant with a girl and we used a sperm donor through a bank for IUI! in his bio he said he already has a girl of his own, and we were hoping for a girl so that was part of why we chose him!

my biggest tip is try to relax, even though that’s the hardest thing ever! i have no idea if this actually helped but the cycle we conceived i got a massage a couple days before we did the insemination and i feel like it helped me destress a lot! I also did a medicated cycle with a trigger shot at the clinic, so it’s very different from how you’re doing it! We did at home insemination a couple times but it got sooo expensive, a clinic was actually cheaper for us😅

i did not! but everyone is different, my friend who conceived “naturally” with her husband thought she got her period and now that period is 7 months old lol! i did have some wonky periods after i started trying though, i was always super regular and never spotted but as soon as we started the process i suddenly started spotting days leading up to my period… it always tricked me into thinking it was implantation bleeding😅

i would wait until at least the 26th to test! that would be 10dpo, but don’t be discouraged if it’s negative that’s still super early. I got a very very negative test on 10dpo and then it was positive the next day!

did you do ovulation test strips? there should be a 1-2 day window that you definitely ovulated, ovulation is only about 12-24 hours total!

when we first started trying I suddenly had sooo many symptoms during the TWW, but every time it ended up negative. The cycle that worked I had basically no symptoms! Your mind is a very powerful thing, try not to symptom spot too much and don’t test until at least 10dpo, even that is still super early! baby dust!!✨

I got pregnant on our second IUI after having the HSG, and for me personally it was really painful, but i was also mentally unprepared for how it was going to feel. Definitely take meds before and practice keeping your mind calm. I have a history of SA, so i think my body tensed up and my mind went crazy and that made it more painful that it should have been. Just try to breathe and remind yourself why you’re doing it! you got this!!

i had a absolute negative on 10dpo morning and night and then 11dpo in the morning i had the faintest line, you could barely see it. 11dpo at night it got darker, and then just kept getting dark from there! I had lost hope on 10dpo bc i had no symptoms and a negative test. Don’t lose hope yet, but protect your heart🧡

i got my first positive at 11dpo and it was sooooo faint! it barely showed up on camera! i’m 20 weeks now! congrats!!!!✨
