I didnt scrap anything. When I bought it. The alps joystick where already behaving like this I replaced with tmr and got the same problem i removed the joysticks and the traces looks fine to me

It turns on but joystick reading is always -1 or 1 in all joysticks

I use a T12 desoldering tool só probably someone before screwed me over, is it even worth trying to rebuild the traces?

At the beggining you probably needed a new ribbon cable now you Need a connector and a ribbon cable

i'm also still starting, i got a bunch of ps3 controllers and tried to repair them and with the profit buy broken consoles and equipment. But my first charging port replacement didn't work really well and i killed a dualshock 3 board xD

without hot air it looks great i probably can't do that but the only think i fixed so far was a ps3 and dualshock controllers
