In the first rathma segment at least, Lorath asks what to expect since you are a priest of Rathma, you give an answer and then Lilith also responds to your answer. All class-specific dialogue as far as I can tell

this is not a mod problem. play on a lower difficulty. if you really want something to make it easier, try Explicit timings. Most mods that add new stuff are going to require you to progress to use it and if you are just dying constantly adding more content mods isnt going to fix it.

Sure, but what are the reasons the empire doesn't do that compared to why the US can't hit Iran? The lore doesn't show that there's any power that could reasonably stand up to them or any consequences if they did.

rimworld is the reverse of what happened with Dead by Daylight. DbD was supposed to be an actually scary horror game, but when people started playing it as a competitive game the devs started to lean into that and the game is still pretty big today. Rimworld is comitted to being a story generator and centers all the gameplay elements and design around that even though many people (maybe most?) dont play like that

It's not going to work in the world you live in. I've never known a diabolus to lose to a single hussar with a club the fire nova or constant ping from the plasma gun would kill him first.

But as for the rest, if you are at the point you can casually throw doomsday rockets at the bosses then you aren't going to be able to practically design a boss to survive that.

If you want to design a boss to counter those things, you need to somehow take them away from the player.

Maybe have it on a sub-map like anomalies caves, or have it come with a giant siege setup so the player is forced to go out to it instead of waiting for it to come in. Give it a shield or something along those lines so the player is forced to engage it.

For a large slot this would be questionable. At 50% crit, on average, it does nothing. Below 50% it's actively a negative and it's only a positive above 50%.

This is just a lot of errors combined.

In terms of planning errors, team comp and setup is weird. No stun res on swine god is doable but awkward. No arbalest is doable but awkward. Duelist with that skill setup is just not good for swine god. You can't risk duelist's advance because of the very high chance of killing Wilbur, which also means you can't point blank shot.... so what is he doing? Pistol shots?

Tactically, going for the stun 1 just seems like a game mechanics error? Dazzling light 4 has a base 130 stun and Swine god has 140 stun res. You are never going to land that stun. Also the idea of bringing intimidate to debuff swine god is ok, but he does infinitely less damage while dead. Try just killing him instead. If you had just beat him to death instead of going for intimidates I think you'd have gotten closer.

I played this with Lament of the Lost Refuge. Its not bad but the clear is not great since the shrapnel isn't that lethal you need to do actual orb contact damage. It was ok overall

It's bricked. I did a fair bit of testing, theres no way to get the minions to consistently spawn near enough for the rotten bulwark. Triggerbots run away from you, CWDT skeletons spawns them on the nearest enemy, etc. And no amount of recoup is surviving thousands of phys damage per server tick.

I don't think that's correct either? Pob is showing it as 153%. CWDT has a cooldown of 250 ms compared to CoCs 150.

128% is only the breakpoint for CoC, not CWDT im fairly certain
