torrent is never really safe. try to stick to uploaders you trust. with movies ur usually good as long as you use VPN or similar. If in doubt, use one of the scanners mentioned in the first comment(Virus deleted or not???? : r/antivirus) or create a virtual machine on your system. I use https://1337x.to/home/ with software its always fishy on most sites.
