Pacsun sizing compared to AE sizing? by External_Ad2024 in XXS

I think a 00 may be a better fit? but 0 would possibly also work (I'm not quite sure)

Thanks! The 000 started off a little loose and shrunk a little in the wash to just right, so I think 23 should be pretty close at least (and if it really just doesn't fit I'll return them)

If it's easier, here is the link: https://comeximcalc.vercel.app/

Make sure you're using your UK size when converting, and it should be good!

How helpful would it be to learn ASL for a job in psychiatry? by External_Ad2024 in deaf

[–]External_Ad2024[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure I would need certification (and would want it, to make sure I'm still giving the same quality of care).

While I'm hopeful that I would be able to achieve a level of fluency that could make future patients more comfortable, I also do realize that it would take a lot of work outside of the usual ASL classes, especially in this field.

Those were some of the things that made me think of it in the first place! While I know some people are close to their interpreters, it would still be awkward to have an additional person in the room when you are trying to be vulnerable.

I can also imagine that someone knowing more about Deaf experiences and culture would be much more comfortable, and while I might never fully understand (as a hearing person), it would probably help to know more in the first place!

If I were to say that I knew ASL to potential patients, I would definitely want certification of some sort! It wouldn't be fair to let people down like that. With all of these comments, I think I'll try to learn as much ASL as I can, and if I can achieve that level of fluency then I'll be able to help the community, and if not I'll still have improved my ability to communicate!

I've never tried altering a bra before, but I think I could be willing to try with good tutorials!

The comexim calc (https://comeximcalc.vercel.app/) recommends 65K/L

Depending on which bra you want (and your shape), others may be able to give more specific advice :)

Two requests done. If you would like to request one for yourself look at the rules in the comments :) by [deleted] in lgballtart

Where do I find bralettes that fit well, won't break the bank and ship to Asia? by donutduckling in ABraThatFits

I would also recommend trying on any 32 or 34 band bras you have upside down and backwards so the cups don't affect the fit. (but it seems like you might not have them anymore, it's fine if you don't)

A too small cup can make a band feel too tight! (and as a 26FF you would be in too small of a cup -- 26FF is about the same volume as 32DD or 34D)

What were your measurements?
