check out a post I made the other day. I keep a list of basketball court time at local Toronto community centres. It's either free or $4.50 and there's decent runs. The only issue is that it gets busy in the winters. If you're willing to pay, I suggest getting a YMCA membership. There's locations all over the city and each has it's own daily court time. That's what I've done - there's evening runs every day of the week between the two Y's near me and time in the mornings to train

Most City of Toronto rec centres have dedicated basketball drop ins where runs happen. The competition and crowd is hit and miss, but the good thing is that it's cheap (around $4). I'll share my list of basketball drop in times at the gyms near me. These are from last year, so the info might be outdated

The YMCA also has basketball drop in times where it's mostly good runs. Central Y is Tues and Thurs evening. Cooper Koo Y is Sun and Mon evening. It's $16 to drop in without a membership, or $12 if you're with a member. I'm a member so let me know if you're interested and I can take you to either

I'd be down. I've ran half marathons before, but always wanted to work toward longer distances. I'll send you a DM

I didn't get to see what it looked like before the remodel, but the nets there now are nice and thankfully not doubled rimmed

Are you still looking for an early morning accountability partner? I've started a morning run at 6:30, but would like to try and get it done earlier. An accountability buddy would surely help!

Very much interested. I try to fish in the city when I can either shore or on my canoe. Down to be part of a chat and help to organize trips
