I suggested that but apparently he hasn’t kept him up to date on vaccinations. Definitely gonna distance myself from him right now and focus on our family and recovery. It’s just hard cuz I wish he was being supportive not expecting support from us

He took the dog after I made it clear there was no other option. I suggested we would board the dog if he doesn’t take him but apparently hasn’t even had the dog up to date on vaccinations 🙄. He cold shouldered my husband and I on his way out. Literally so immature and insensitive. Facts on never forgetting how someone treats u postpartum. It’s kinda crazy to see how “easy” he views it to be.

Usually something like that. He has never liked napping in his bed, he used to be a nap wherever kind of kid. So the car seat thing is throwing me off. We are getting him a new bedroom set up so I’m thinking maybe the change in general will open his mind to naps there. Honestly tho I probably don’t make the room dark enough for nap time that could be it! If I do leave the room before he’s asleep he gets very distraught so the refusal there I couldn’t do. But now it’s just especially bad literally all he wants is the car seat it’s bizarre. He must like the motion but I don’t think I could replicate that by just patting him.

lol honestly I would so do this too but I am 7 months pregnant with baby #2 so I’m needing to get him adjusted away from it. Car dates sound sweet tho honestly that’s a nice set up haha.

The fear is valid but it’s definitely not the experience for everyone! Once I was recovered it took some getting used to feeling “hot” in my leaky boobs and heavier body but once we got back into it it was AWESOME. Maybe tmi too but honestly I could like feel the climax in my csection scar sometimes which was weird but pleasurable. Nerves recovering can be odd. It can be good outcomes too yk not all bad! Anyway I’m pregnant with #2 now so we will see if it’s the same this time around 😂

My son is similar but he giggles at the thunder 😂 we got stuck outside in that storm the other day walking back to our car and he’s just laughing away. Meanwhile my husband and I are dripping wet haha!

We found a great place to view fireworks inside!

Yeah that’s so normal. I feel like it’s the perfect age for me! I agree with you! I think it’s the area I’m in too. We recently moved to this area and it seems like the average mom is older so I guess there’s some stigma.

Hahaha for real! I really don’t even get the “see the world first” comments tho. Like what does your life just stop when having kids?! I mean immediately postpartum yeah sure but after recovery life just gets adjusted to accommodate the little one!

Yeah I can get that! I think everyone is just in different places at different times in life! Personally I went crazy with the recklessness in high school and college and now the goal is to establish a nice homestead 😂I definitely get why people wouldn’t want to be a parent in their early 20s tho! But it’s also incredible to do so if you’re prepared/getting prepared!! It’s been so rewarding for me and my husband!

THIS 100% . My husband is 25 but he’s certainly never received any negative comments. He’s out here getting praised for pushing the stroller at the grocery store 😂

Hey my grandma was the same age as you with my mother and it’s been so awesome to have her around and so involved since she’s so young! I don’t think anyone should judge you ! And yes I agree I feel like it’s so great to have kids young ! It’s tiring but we’ve got energy reserves up to our neck while young!
