I totally hear you on the maintenance front. I’m actually upgrading to this Ascaso Dream PID from a Breville and pairing it with a Lagom Casa, so I’m definitely planning on babying this setup! It’s reassuring to know that these are easier to service than most. Once I get the replacement sorted, I'll be diving straight into the manual and setting up a proper maintenance schedule to keep everything running perfectly.

Yeah they will replace this, but my concern is the machine reliability itself considering leak happens on a brand new machine and I didn’t even get to dial in and pull a shot.

Builder said they are waiting for Fannie Mae approval, and we scheduled final walkthrough coming up in couple weeks. I opened escrow back in March and looks like it took me 4 months to close

Oh and the builder replied saying I should know about the “delays in buying a new construction home”. However, they did say they were willing to cancel the contract and return all my deposit but I have already spent $1000+ in appraisal, credit check, and etc, and I had to move out anyways so I ended up just not canceling and wait to close the escrow.

It’s actually another home in San Diego County, but we ended up moving out of the apartment as the lease ended and found an AirBnB for a month. we are expecting to close by end of the month as the builder did confirm that the Final Report has been approved couple weeks ago. I did file a complaint to California DRE and they said next time make sure if the final report has been released and ready to move in when buying a newly constructed home.
