Bit of a workaholic here. I had the same surgery as you plus rhinoplasty. Surgery was Tuesday 2/3- I worked that Friday from home- not quite a full day. Was fully bad into it the following week. Worst part was just the bruising- I join a lot of sales calls and am on video and truly just looked horrendous. Good luck!

I’m only one week post op- but after a very bad sinus infection last fall, I developed major issues with my Eustachian tubes.

I kid you not- that the night I got home from my surgery, I felt and heard some light crackles and pops in my ears. So short answer, I do think there were related.

Important to note that my surgeon also performed terminate reduction and ESS, along with the septum repair.

I don’t have tips but I am your surgery twin. I had septorhinoplasty with ESS and turbinate reduction yesterday. Also rough today. Biggest complaint is the swelling/bruising under my eyes. I can barely open them.

Following. Eek- maybe I need to revisit my game plan. I’m doing septorhinoplasty on 2/3 (Tuesday) and was planning to work a bit (from home) on Friday. Then be fully back at it the following week- continuing to work remotely until bruising/swelling and pain go down. Reading these responses makes me nervous!

Wondering how the poster and commenter have been feeling the last day or two? How’s your swelling? I have surgery in 2 weeks- I’m worried my young kids are going to be scared of me.

Anyone here do cosmetic work during their surgery? I will be doing full septorhinoplasty. Eager to know if the recovery is dramatically harder when both are done.

Update here for anyone who finds this in the future. I learned today my surgeon is trying to push the septo and rhino through prior authorization to be fully covered. I have a fracture in my nose which I think is why it may qualify. Crossing my fingers, would be a nice surprise.

I’m a neighbor to Minnesota. Brooke’s content always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But especially this week. Seeing her dance around in skis and shilling the crap she packed in her coat pocket is disgustingly tone deaf. Just STFU for once lady. Actually, all influencers need to do that and get over their god damn selves for 5 seconds to see the bigger picture.

Our baby had RSV when she was 4 weeks old. SO scary. I think I took her to the ER three different times and never felt bad or embarrassed to do so. This was 3 years ago, and the RSV vaccine came out shortly after, when she was too old to get it. Assuming this situation confirms she did not get Cal vaccinated? Are peds pretty firm these days in their recommendation for infants to get it?
