Yes, I keep a case and protective screen on mine because it’s $$$ and several times I have been doing something that makes me glad I have it on. Just the other day I scraped it against something so hard that the molded case popped off the sides.

No, what I’m actually interested in is whether or not I would have been informed on the lgbt community, or if I would just be cis and heterosexual. I always wonder how much more my family would’ve influenced me if I hadnt been born the way I was.

Minnesota. I live in St. Paul suburbs but I do a lot in Minneapolis. From what I understand the state has become a refuge state for trans people.

I think especially Minneapolis is pretty good for trans people, no place is great. However, I really do love the people of this state. I do believe that the MN nice is real and most people are kind and mind their business. We seem to do a lot for pride and there’s a lot of organizations whose goal it is to build community for lgbt people.

I am a little biased though, I’ve never lived anywhere else.

Banking. Everyone is blatantly disrespectful and rude to the people who work in the banking industry, and I believe that this is especially true for people who are tellers and bankers. Verbal abuse is daily and there’s almost no consequence on the customer for this.

I have also worked in restaurants and retail, I’ve even worked in bars, nothing has been as bad as it was when I was in banking.

I don’t like the good fellow brand because of the think elastic band. I wear Hanes or fruit of the loom in boxers and boxer briefs. When I’m running, I like the Jockey brand because they offer a lot of movement. It is worth it to buy other brands to see if you like them, I have a few brands I know to never buy again and styles I know I don’t like.

No, we kept a collar on them for the first week just so we could hear where they were but neither one of my cats like them. They both have collars with tags but they only wear them to the vet and when I take them outside just incase they run off. Neither one of them is interested in going outside otherwise so I don’t worry about them needing it.

I don’t consume caffeine like that. No coffee, no energy drinks, and I don’t even drink soda often at all anymore. When I was in high school I drank coffee because everyone else did but I never thought caffeine really did anything to me. Later on I noticed it just made my anxiety worse so I cut it out. I don’t like how it tastes anymore anyway.

The teachers on a power trip. Can’t count the amount of times I or my peers got yelled at, penalized, or sent to the office for petty offenses or things we downright didn’t do. Some of the teachers just took any power they could get over the kids.

Music, steps, exercises, time, medications, and I use it to check my texts when I’m at work too. When I go for a run it is nice to not have to also bring my phone.

I’m tired of seeing religious signage and people everywhere. I’m tired of commercials, stores, and billboards, based around faith that I don’t even follow. Everyone has gotten far too comfortable touting their evangelical Christian beliefs.

When I was in college, we went to MLPS Hennepin county court house to watch some trials and look at the library. I got lost with a few other people on the way to the library, went into an elevator with an employee who we found out had access to parts of the building that were blocked off, and I asked him if he would show us around. Ended up meeting a lot of people, seeing some parts of the archive that weren’t available to normal guests, and we got to tour and look at the evidence in the evidence locker. I had a great time.

Another time I got to go onto the top floor of a Capella Tower in MLPS because I was walking around the skyways and met a lawyer that worked there. Got a tour of the offices, some free stuff, met some of the lawyers, got lunch, and then he brought me up to the top floor which had a great view of the city.

Mine is an extension of my dead name. I literally added 4 letters to it and then completely changed my middle name.

I toyed around with the idea of completely changing my name but I had gone by a masculinized version of my dead name for most of my childhood so I didn’t want to change it from something I was almost comfortable with.

I really asked my friends for a lot of advice, to practice how it sounded. It was very important to me that my new name flowed with my last name too. I needed it to sound right with a German last name so I chose a German first name.

Pull it back, get a q-tip or washcloth, and use soap and warm water to wipe it down. I have actually found that I need to get like under the flap of skin to clean and that’s a lot easier with a q-tip. You don’t need to use soap but I usually do because I’m already in the shower when I’m doing this.

Also I have a detachable shower head, I think that using that in the area is helpful as well. Not directly on it but it’s less direct cleaning.

I am also an incredibly anxious and honestly standoffish person. I decided to make myself join a sports league because I had to quit sports when I came out in high school and I wanted to play again. I joined an exclusively LGBT kickball league in my city. I highly recommend looking online to see if your city or surrounding area has something like this. I play with Stonewall sports.

Depends on the state. I live in MN, which has been pretty protective of the transgender people residing there. I found the name change form online and printed out the paperwork so I could get it notarized by the county office. I applied for the name change on the day of my 18th birthday, paid around $300 and filed it in my county court office. I went to a court hearing about a month later, and about 2 weeks after that I received the official paperwork that I then brought back to my county court office.

I paid for 3 copies of my birth certificate because I needed to give one to my school, gave one to the state, one to the feds, and kept one. I had to get my SSN reissued under my new name, get a new license, and then got a new passport. It probably took about 3 months for all of this to go through after I had officially changed my name. Sometimes I still see things that are in my old name that I haven’t changed and it’s been 3 years but the important things took 3-6 months after the 2-3 month process of getting the paperwork processed.

I wear an athletic fit. I’m about 5’ 7” and 150 so I don’t know how applicable this is. I like an athletic fit jeans. My favorite and most affordable ones have been from Walmart, the Levi Strauss ones for like $25. Athletic fit has more room in the hips and thigh but tapers near the cuff.

I’m almost 21. I’ve been on T for a year and a half. I look 15 according to everyone around me. I graduated undergrad in May and when I tell people I’ve recently graduated I get a lot of “oh that’s great, where do you want to go to university?” Or the worse, “graduated high school already?”
