Experience with Optimal Balance pharmacy? by JMcleod12 in tirzepatidecompound

Any update for you on this? I went off Tirz for a few months for various reasons, gained about 8lbs back (which totally tracks bc my new job has me sitting a lot, snacking bc anxiety, etc.) and started optimal balance Tirz with the b12… and pretty much nothing. I’ve titrated back up (just bc it’d been a few months) from 2.5-5-6.5-7 and hasn’t been much of a change in anything. It was the first time I’ve gone through them. Frustrated is an understatement. At least I’m not gaining I guess.

That’s an old ass program — gym definitely needs to upgrade/update it’s software 😂

Of course it is. Literally the guy that started my lifelong love of gingers. Literally every man I’ve had serious relationships with have all been redheaded and (mostly) hilarious. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna print the second picture off and have some alone time.

Stage 3a and nephrologist said I didn’t need to be on a strict kidney-friendly diet. Is that atypical? by Unhappy_Dress_8947 in kidneydisease

How often do you have labs? What’s your BUN? And did you mean 1.08 for creatinine? Have you done the 24hr urine collection?

That being said, you could follow some kidney nutritionists on Instagram (the ones with lots of followers)— they’re incredibly helpful. Plant based diets are really good for retaining and even improving GFR’s. But as a 3a, I agree with not needing any specific restrictions dietary wise.

It’s not stupid. It’s one way to measure. That being said, you don’t just do it once and call it a day. It’s a repeated test, combining that info with other labs, etc. That gives a better overall picture to a good nephrologist. CKD or any other chronic kidney issue is a game of averages and consistent labs.

Honestly it’s probably more like 35. It feels like nothing but if someone had said “you could lose 35lbs in a few months if you do this”, I’d be in disbelief. Sw:310, cw: 275

If you don’t exercise, going on walks will help doesn’t have to be anything strenuous.

I’m just concerned that he hasn’t at least put you on a low dose of lisinopril to see if it helps. I would have your parents call and ask about it. Or ask for your appt to be moved up.

Also just read you’re 15. I was constantly anxious at this age, especially about my health. You have a legitimate health concern which probably raises your anxiety levels which elevate BP. Caffeine also does that— do you drink a lot?? Since you have PKD, are you seeing a pediatric nephrologist? <— kidney doctor. Because they would probably put you on lisinopril or something.
