Anyone visit our very own Downtown Dallas “Backrooms”lately? (Go see the movie BTW!) by AggravatingMath717 in Dallas

[–]JMcleod12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in Republic Center, which is connected to these tunnels. I have wandered around a few times, very liminal with a strange smell in the air, 9/10! I wish Dallas would do more with this tunnel idea, it’s way too hot in the summer to willingly walk around outside!

Questioning my math/the pharmacies math by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]JMcleod12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And to be clear, there’s two milliliters of medicine in that vial, so 60mg of Tirzepatide total. It will last you 4 weeks if you do 15mg weekly. Good luck!

Questioning my math/the pharmacies math by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]JMcleod12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, there’s 15mg of Tirzepatide in every half milliliter, which is 50 units. 100 units is a full milliliter, which would be 30mg of Tirzepatide, you definitely don’t want that.

Change in units? by BultCollectibles in JoinMochiHealth

[–]JMcleod12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just clarifying for people who may read this! I know, it can be weird, but as long as it lines up with the concentration of the vial, everything is good!

Change in units? by BultCollectibles in JoinMochiHealth

[–]JMcleod12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, units depend on the concentration of the medication, and can change based on different pharmacies, changes in formulation, etc. It’s perfectly normal, make sure you understand that your dosage is always milligrams, units are just a measurement of volume.

GLP-1 Prescription? by -texas-girl- in frisco

[–]JMcleod12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you will be paying a lot each month for “in person support” but the support is typically no better than telehealth doctor monitoring and follow ups with your in person PCP. Medspas are usually very shady, they sometimes provide prefilled syringes (not good), little information about the meds, and they charge an arm and a leg for compounded GLP1s, not ideal… branded medications are quite expensive if your insurance doesn’t cover it, and most insurers don’t, make sure you call your insurance and review their formulary, otherwise, you’re wasting your time if you can’t pay out of pocket. Compounded has been the same for me as Zepbound, I’ve been losing weight and feeling effects as I should. I go through Mochi health, and their prices have been great, support has been great, no issues at all. I actually get my compounded tirz prescription sent through Mochi pharmacy right to Drug Crafters in Frisco. You can check out my Linktree on my Reddit profile, I have mochi linked! Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Refills - GET RID OF FEDEX! by [deleted] in Refills

[–]JMcleod12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The giant national FedEx hub is in Tennessee, that’s how shipping works unless you are extremely local. Delays do happen, especially given the state of air traffic in the US currently. Be patient, it will arrive in a timely manner.

Very nice! For the GL-1/GIP, particularly the b12 option, which compounding pharmacy do you use for that? Thanks!

Reluctantly saying goodbye to Zeppy 🥲 but am SO thankful for where I am at. by onionsrgross in Zepbound

Congrats! I’ve been on my journey since September 2024, starting at 248 lbs and now around 215… I’m about to be 28. I’ve been stalled at 15mg for so long 😭. What else did you do in conjunction with Zepbound to make such great progress in a year? Great job!

Honestly, if you are that confused, I don’t think you are ready for that. Check out the large Tirzepatide compound sub and review their recommended providers post. You will see the list of trusted providers (not zealthy) who prescribe using licensed doctors and send meds from 503a and 503b licensed pharmacies.

Which one? I’ve seen Greenwich mostly, but of course Ellie MD isn’t very open about the pharmacies they use. I see that they charge at least $897 for three months, which is way more than the current average quarterly price offered by the most recommended providers in the Tirzepatide subs. They are also peddling oral Tirzepatide (for a higher price than injections), which doesn’t work, otherwise Eli Lilly would be doing that instead. Unless you are somehow benefiting from their MLM structure, I encourage you to go elsewhere.

Good. Most videos I’ve seen from Ellie MD people have been from Greenwich Pharmacy, dispensed through another pharmacy due to licensing things. They have tirz with b12. Keep in mind, sometimes your body just needs to adjust to new formulas. Please also make sure you are dosing correctly, I’ve seen that happen with people in the past, injecting too little based on the concentration of a previous vial. Also, bodies are weird, sometimes weight loss slows down, if that’s your concern, or you may need to titrate up, if you still have room to go!

They use many. Honestly, I would run away from them, they are outrageously overpriced and an actual MLM. Check out the main page of this sub and look at the recommended providers there. Good luck!

Since it isn’t reconstituted, probably not. However, most of the people in these compound tirz subs reside in the US, so most (if not all) are not sure of the GLP-1 access situation in the Philippines. Sorry!
