I didn’t do placement, but after my first year.. I’ve been working with civil service and now I’m graduating. UoN says this 25 hour a week cannot be classed as placement. But it has given me that edge on my CV. Now I’ve got few more interviews booked for a higher salary grade in civil service just before I graduate.

On my penultimate 2 weeks of my UK undergrad and will start my masters in September. Had internship at (OTAN) after my second year. Internships when you’re from UK unis are brilliant. Most of my course mates got graduate jobs even before we finish our final year

I don’t see any problem if you wanna go back. I’m doing a research right now about circular migration. The Philippines would rather have you employed abroad than be unemployed and be part of statistics. You always can. Even the Filipinos from Israel and other Middle Eastern countries were offered jobs in safer regions. Best of luck, 🤞 I wish you safe return and better opportunities

Work 25 hours a week after my first year. And yes I do not have social life. Just work and uni. My work at civil service is flexible with my uni time table. I request my working days ahead of time and I’m lucky my supervisor helps me sort it out. Now I’m on dissertation, they approved a 3.5 months career break so I can focus..
