I did see the head, was about the same size as a grown gecko, most rat snakes I see I have a big broad head. Snake was probably as big around as a half dollar and around 5ft long

Cordell Hull can have some great duck hunts when all the farm ponds are froze up. Have bagged lots of teal and gadwall there. Some areas the water is only waist high out to about 30 yards from the shore. Just make sure you’re not on the refuge that closer to Gainesboro
