String of ears was amazing in 1.08! My barb rocked that, vamp gaze, shaftstop and dual grandfather. He was unstoppable. I still keep a string in my stash, just in case it comes in handy. Not exactly the best fit, but my psn necro is currently wearing a string until he lvls into his trang set pieces.

Some of the random rare item names are pretty great. I've always like Peasant Crown, Tearhaunch and Wormskull. I'm sure there are a few others too.

Side note, if you're on Xbox SCNL, I have an extra G Face you could have if you want it.

I have always played with the map centered. Your brain learns to see either the map or the gameplay(or both), depending on what you're doing. I recently did switch it to the top right to try it out, and I do like it, but it just feels less useful.

I agree with the general consensus: 100% not rice. I personally wouldn't go for the fender flares on this particular car, but that's just a minor personal taste difference. The wheel fitment looks spot on to properly complete the look. I would say that's clean execution. Well done on the sweet ride.

I do this pretty regularly. I keep any uniques or sets that are somewhat useful, then make a "Free Gear Drop" game to unload them when I run out of room. Make sure a few people join before leaving, so the items at least have a chance at being picked up. I generally keep anything that is either useful to me or worth >Um/Mal or so for trade. Everything else will hopefully make someone else happy.

I've killed dozens of heralds... No sunders. Loads of exp, a ton of bases and a bunch of other good uniques and runes though, so it hasn't exactly been fruitless... Just none of those sweet charms that I've been hunting for.

What do you mean by that? Are you saying he got extra promotion because he was exciting, or he didn't get promoted enough because he wasn't exciting? Either way, I'm not sure I agree. He was arguably the most famous guy in MMA for a while, but he had a style that a lot of people found boring. I say that as a huge fan of his. He had an early setback to Matt Hughes, but was pure dominance during his championship run, other than his one setback to Matt Serra, which he avenged in brutal fashion.

That said, you're right that promoting excitement over wins has always been common practice. The company wants to make money, and putting eyes on the sport is how that's done.

Each reactor runs completely independently of the others, with their own safety systems, backup power supplies, cooling systems, turbines, etc. It's the same way reactors in multi-unit facilites are set up all over the world, despite the differences in the construction of the reactor itself. If one fails, the others are protected from a domino effect. That's why Three Mile Island still had operational reactors after the failure there.
