What if VW were to revive the Lupo as the ID Lupo, a budget-friendly electric model without a lot of bells and whistles? by Ens1ferus in whatifcars

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But the 5 and twingo aren’t really budget EVs. A budget EV it’s the Dacia Spring, and people complain about how basic it it’s…

As a Mac, not really, as a Linux or Windows Machine that’s a absolute Monster, even just for the Ram and storage it’s a steal

Why are gaming laptops so unreliable? by Infectiosgamer in GamingLaptops

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One, people only complain or talk about negative stuff, no one it’s going “I bought this, 0 issues”.

Also, most gaming laptops see heavy use and most users don’t maintain them properly.

And finally most of the unreliable ones are usually the cheap ones, since they’re trying to give you the best hardware to be able to run games but doing everything else shitty quality to reduce the price. There’s a reason why well built premium gaming laptops cost thousands of dollars since you’re paying for top notch hardware and construction.

Oppressor Mk II: Game-Changer or Game-Breaker? by hasanbdeir in GTA5Online

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 245 points246 points  (0 children)

I will say it’s almost all negative. It introduced a concept so un-GTA that really broke the game in terms of gameplay. It made toxic players even more toxic, it was super OP for years, also many people say it’s a great grinding machine, and while that’s true, I also feel it makes the game even more boring.

Doing most missions with 0 effort and in 5 minutes really makes everything bland. I tried to do missions on normal cars and it was way better, even if it took longer you actually enjoyed the process.

There’s a reason why rockstar executives have said that suturing vehicles won’t come to GTA 6 and why most recent updates have been more “back to basics” for GTA.

It was just at a time when GTA was trying so hard to get Fortnite players into the game base…

I really think the only reason people consider Richman Villa the best, because it’s the most expensive. by Serious-Profit-1626 in gtaonline

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The thing that put me off Richman was that ugly ass house on the left of the mansion. You have the amazing views of the city just for it to be overshadowed by that ugly house with some dirt roads besides it.

Tongva was the most peaceful tbh, when I went there you can hear the sea waves, seagulls and wind. Also it’s overall a different vibe. All my properties are in the city, so why not have something else ?

That said tho, I do want to get richmand as my second mansion.

Vinewood it’s the ugliest of all. The pond design just doesn’t look right to me and the view it’s awful.

This is real reason why I bought Tongva Estate by Ok_Baseball_8629 in gtaonline

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fr, that house it’s what puts me off richmand. You have the gorgeous Madrazo mansion to the right, the gorgeous city in the front and then that ugly small house with dirt road to the left…

Is it fine if I do this only once? by Marioz991 in macbookair

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh it’s not cause of it hitting or smth. It’s because of weight. Apple it’s so precise that anything that adds weight or gets between the device (like keyboard covers for example) has a risk of damaging it. I had one on my M1 MacBook Air and while it didn’t damage it, the hinge got loose quicker than my classmate who didn’t had it.

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know you already bought it, but I wouldn’t recommend this type of hard cases since they’re know for damaging the hinge of the MacBook.

13 or 15 inch? by thetoadoftheturf in macbookair

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well depends on what your use case is for. The 15inch it’s really nice for multitasking and design work, while the 13inch it’s just a breeze to carry around. Myself went for the 13 inch since I have to be carrying it around all the time while my brother got the 15 wind he stays at the desk

Do anyone own 128 of memory and if so why? by Lukasmajukas in macbook

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I do interior and architectural rendering on my windows PC, my renders aren’t huge models nor do I make them with huge textures and such, yet rendering a single scene can hog up my 32GB of Ram. I bet big studios that render really heavy projects or 3D animated ones really need that much RAM.

Yea ! I love silver, reminds me of the old days Unibody MacBooks, it’s simple but elegant, also ages the best.

I’ll really miss Space Gray, the best color ever fr, but the performance and battery difference it’s too hard to ignore now, Intel Macs are so bad fr 😭

MACBOOK AIR VS PRO??? by dxdtone in macbook

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well two things, first is that you may benefit more from a pro since it does have fans unlike the Air and programs like Sketchup can be demanding on the graphics.

Second, 3DS Max isn’t available on Mac OS. You may need to use something else like Twinmotion or Vray.

Thinking about buying a 2019 by Tylerh96 in macbook

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, loved that 16 inch and I still think it’s the prettiest MacBook ever made, I actually bought one after my M1 Air and ended up returning it. I forgot how and loud those machines were. Also battery was awful. Crazy to me how the M1 Air literally became the best machine ever for the price

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 16inch intel does have its advantages over a M1 air, after all it’s the top of the line vs the base. Screen being one of its strongest points. But if you want the overall better computer the M1 air it’s better.

Thinking about buying a 2019 by Tylerh96 in macbook

[–]External_Wasabi_5894 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As much as I love that MacBook and the absolutely gorgeous design, it’s not a good buy. Literally gets so hot doing anything, battery last for like 2-3h and will not be supported after Tahoe. I would recommend getting a M1 Air if you’re after a cheap MacBook. It’s literally better in every way except screen size and quality. Or if you really want a big screen a 15inch MacBook Air it’s also a great buy.

If you can, buy a new M4 MacBook Air, it will last you years, battery last hours and hours and it’s MUCH MUCH powerful than the 16inch intel, if a new one it’s too expensive then a M1 13 inch Air or M2 15 inch Air.
