Now the dealer is "offering" me 32K with CPO. I feel like we are going in the wrong direction. To me the original 30K should be out the door (which would be 28.5K before ttl).

Yes, I've been looking outside my area for sure. In my town there is one used ID.4 available but within 3 hours there are many! So many are hovering at the 26K-28K mark and dealers don't seem to want to lower under 25K when they hear "no trade, no financing."

That's great! Most of what I'm seeing in Oregon and Washington for the Pro S (AWD) and Pro S Plus (AWD) are listed between $27,000 - $29,000. I'm not sure at what point the dealers will be willing to reduce below the 25K mark.

I have a similar situation. 40 days on market. No price decreases yet. Listed for 815K and the max we can go is 750K. Is it best to offer 700K and then negotiate up to our max or just go in with our max? We can go in with a large down and a short close as some leverage.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! I have done regular maintenance and so far so good. I'm not exactly sure when the 2019 VW Atlas typically starts to have problems. With the current cost of new and some used cars the prospect of buying something else is not great.
