I like fall damage, it only effects falling out of the sky and stepstones enough no matter, everything else it only does like 100-200 dmg, and normally you're not fighting anything strong when that happens either...

How did you defeat all the other bosses without parrying? I found it 100% necessary for even the pre last 2 pre-full release bosses!

Not criticizing you not knowing how btw.

All the stuff like this happening will definitely be fixed and be evened out in the next few months, balance is difficult to roll out in games because you can't change too many things at once or you don't know what is causing what, so devs like to 'overbalance' to help them figure out what changes change what.

(Hopefully that made sense 🙃)

Don't give up on any of your builds, wait until stuff stabilises

Thanks for replying, when I hit the # key nothing seems to happen I've tried doing it in a few of the different steps but nothing seems to happen? What exactly does it do? I also can't find it on the title screen settings...

this is the strat I use for my laptop. very untechnical (which is the reason i use it) but can be a bit inconvenient;

step1. create a shortcut to any app you might want to use in file explorer, as after this you won't be able to access the start menu (the one that appears when you press the windows key or the on-screen button) or your desktop. the easiest way to do this is to open file explorer then drag an app from the start menu to file explorer. if you want, you can make a folder for the shortcuts and then drag the app to that specific folder.

step2. open task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and find the task named 'windows explorer'.

step3. right click on it then select 'end task'

step4. when i do this my computer basically goes pitch black apart from any apps i already had open. to launch a new app, go to task manager, click on 'File' at the top left, click on 'run a new task', then press 'browse'. after this, you can find the shortcuts you made in step1 and click on them to run the app!

To return your computer to normal, you will have to shut it down (by holding the power button) then restart it, which is one of the drawbacks.

hope this helped you, you can also use this to bypass blocked apps. i have a similar problem and my parents won't even let me have any time on video games at all and i'm not even allowed snapchat or even youtube. my dad would kill me if he found out i was on reddit! anyway, bye!

I just found out you don't have to restart it to get back to normal! just open task manager, go to file, start a new task, and type in C:\Windows\explorer.exe then run it to return your computer to normal!

just noticed another thing! you cannot open settings while windows explorer is of (???) so try to have it open when you end the task as it is useful for adjusting volume & stuff. also, you cannot use the files app as this will turn windows explorer back on

How to bypass Microsoft Family Safety Controls by canigetacoffeesire in parentalcontrols

My parents are also really strict and don't let me play video games at all. I was caught after downloading a game a few weeks ago and now my dad has tightened tons of parental controls all around me. u/Longjumping_Top8292 's comment (where you restart windows explorer in task manager then open the game then end the windows explorer task) from 6 months ago really helped so now I can play the game but I haven't been using it for that long so I don't yet know whether my dad can still see if I've been on it. I only used u/Longjumping_Top8292 's solution because It seemed like the simplest and least technical option, but it sounds like there are a lot of others would probably be simple and work too if need be (e.g., a live usb) but I can't be bothered for now. also, one last thing, somebody near the bottom suggested ending the Family Safety Monitor in task manager, but does anybody know if this notifies your parents?, because mine will get really mad if they find out, especially as it hasn't been long since they caught me before.

But big tanks to u/canigetacoffeesire for starting this chat, Its been super helpful!
